Connecting Fitbit (Nutrition)

Connecting Fitbit (Nutrition)

If you use Fitbit to log your food, you can sync your nutrition data with your Apotheo check-ins. This is a separate toggle from the Fitbit wearable connection — you can use one or both.

How to Connect

  1. Go to your Account page and find the Integrations section (or Settings > Integrations in the Apotheo app)
  2. Enable the Fitbit nutrition tracking toggle
  3. If you haven't already connected your Fitbit account, you'll be redirected to Fitbit to authorize access

Once connected, your Fitbit nutrition data syncs automatically with your check-ins.

What Data Syncs

  • Calories
  • Protein, Carbohydrates, Fat, Fiber
  • Sodium
  • Food log with individual meals

Troubleshooting

My numbers don't match

If you modify foods you tracked in Fitbit for days that were already synced, the changes aren't automatically updated in Apotheo. Click Sync Now on your check-in form to force an update.

Nothing is syncing

  • Make sure you're logging food in the Fitbit app
  • Check that you have food logged for the dates in your check-in period
  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting from your Account page

Things to Know

  • You can only connect one nutrition tracker at a time — if you already have another nutrition app connected, disconnect it first from your Account page
  • This is separate from the Fitbit wearable toggle — see Connecting Fitbit for activity, sleep, and health data
  • Data syncs for the check-in period — the days between your current and previous check-in
