Connecting Fitbit
Connecting Fitbit
Fitbit syncs your activity, sleep, heart rate, and body composition data with your Apotheo check-ins.
How to Connect
- Go to your Account page and find the Integrations section (or Settings > Integrations in the Apotheo app)
- Under Devices, enable Fitbit
- You'll be redirected to Fitbit to authorize access
- Log in to your Fitbit account and approve the connection
Once connected, your Fitbit data syncs automatically with your check-ins.
What Data Syncs
- Steps
- Total Sleep, Deep Sleep, Light Sleep, REM Sleep
- Resting Heart Rate, HRV
- Weight, Body Fat %
Troubleshooting
Nothing is syncing
- Make sure your Fitbit device is syncing with the Fitbit app — Apotheo reads data from Fitbit's servers, so your device needs to sync first
- Check that you have data for the dates in your check-in period
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting Fitbit from your Account page
Data is missing for some days
Fitbit only syncs data that's available on Fitbit's servers. If your device didn't sync for a day, that data won't appear in Apotheo. Make sure your Fitbit device has synced with the Fitbit app.
Things to Know
- You can only connect one wearable at a time — if you already have another wearable connected, disconnect it first from your Account page
- You can additionally connect Apple Health to supplement Fitbit data with anything extra available via Apple Health
- If you also use Fitbit for food logging, see Connecting Fitbit (Nutrition) to sync your nutrition data separately
- Data syncs for the check-in period — the days between your current and previous check-in
