Connecting a Wearable Device

Connecting a Wearable Device

You can connect your wearable device or health app to Apotheo so your activity, sleep, and health data syncs automatically with your check-ins. This gives your coach a complete picture of your daily wellness alongside your training and nutrition.

Supported Devices & Apps

  • Fitbit
  • Ōura
  • Garmin
  • Whoop
  • Apple Health

How to Connect

  1. Go to your Account page and find the Integrations section (or Settings > Integrations in the Apotheo app)
  2. Find your wearable device or health app
  3. Click to connect and follow the authorization prompts to link your account

Where Your Data Appears

Once connected, your health data appears in the Synced Data section of your check-in. Your coach sees:

  • Activity — steps and movement data
  • Sleep — total sleep time with a breakdown by sleep stage (deep, light, REM)
  • Heart rate — resting heart rate and HRV
  • Device-specific scores — readiness, recovery, strain, and other metrics from Ōura and Whoop

Data is displayed as daily values for each day of your check-in period.

Things to Know

  • You can only connect one wearable at a time (e.g., Fitbit or Ōura, not both) — if you want to switch, disconnect the current one from your Account page first
  • You can additionally connect Apple Health alongside your primary integration — Apple Health will sync any extra data that isn't included in your primary device. For example, connecting Whoop + Apple Health gives you all the Whoop data plus steps, weight, and mindful minutes from Apple Health.
  • Data syncs for the check-in period — the days between your current and previous check-in
  • Weight and body fat data from wearables appears alongside your manually entered measurements
  • Wear your device consistently — gaps in wear time mean gaps in the data your coach sees
