Connecting a Nutrition Tracking App

Connecting a Nutrition Tracking App

You can connect your nutrition tracking app to Apotheo so your food log data syncs automatically with your check-ins. This saves you from manually entering your nutrition data and gives your coach a detailed view of your daily intake.

Supported Apps

  • Cronometer
  • MyFitnessPal
  • MacrosFirst
  • Fitbit (nutrition logging)
  • Nutracheck
  • MyMacros+
  • Apple Health (nutrition data)

How to Connect

  1. Go to your Account page and find the Integrations section (or Settings > Integrations in the Apotheo app)
  2. Find the nutrition app you use
  3. Click to connect and follow the authorization prompts to link your account

Once connected, your nutrition data will sync automatically with your check-ins.

Where Your Data Appears

Once connected, your nutrition data appears automatically in the Nutrition section of your check-in. Your coach sees:

  • Daily macro totals — calories, protein, carbs, fat, and other tracked nutrients
  • Food log — individual meals and food entries (where supported)
  • Adherence to targets — how your intake compares to the nutrition targets your coach has set

Things to Know

  • You can only connect one nutrition tracker at a time — if you want to switch apps, disconnect the current one from your Account page first
  • Data syncs for the check-in period — the days between your current and previous check-in
  • If you switch apps, historical data from your previous app remains in past check-ins
  • Apple Health syncs nutrition data from whatever app you use to log food into Apple Health
  • Log your food consistently — gaps in tracking mean gaps in the data your coach sees
