Apple Health Troubleshooting

If you're having trouble syncing your Apple Health data to Apotheo, please check the following.


Submit your check-in from the Apotheo iOS app


Apple Health data must be synced from the Apotheo app. It won't sync if you're viewing your check-in via a web browser.


Your data syncs when you open the Check-In section in the app.


Check Apple Health permissions


On your iPhone, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > Apotheo and check that Apotheo has permission to read the data you're trying to sync.

Check that Apple Health data is available


Check that the data you're trying to sync exists in Apple Health, in this example we'll use Steps.


On your iPhone, open the Health app, and go to Browse > Activity > Steps > (scroll down) Show All Data


Make sure that data is available for the date range of your check-in.

Reconnect Apple Health


On your iPhone, open the Apotheo app and go to Settings > Integrations then turn on Apple Health under Wearables.


If it's already on, toggle it off and back on.

Open your check-in


On your iPhone, open the Apotheo app and go to Check-In.


You should now see a Your synced data section.

Tap on Your synced data to view the data that was synced from Apple Health.
