# Viewing In-Progress Check-Ins

You don't have to wait for a client to submit their check-in to see their data. Apotheo gives you a near-real-time view of their progress, so you can spot inconsistencies or compliance issues early.

## How to View an In-Progress Check-In

1. Go to your **Client List** and select a client
2. Click the **Check-Ins** tab
3. At the top of the list, look for a check-in with a grey **In progress** badge
4. Click it to open and view their data

The in-progress check-in always appears at the top of the list, above any submitted check-ins.

## What You'll See

The in-progress check-in shows the same data as a submitted check-in, updated as the client logs it:

- **Nutrition** — synced macro and food log data
- **Measurements** — weight and body measurements
- **Habits** — daily habit tracking
- **Photos** — progress photos
- **Synced data** — wearable and health app data
- **Questions** — answers to check-in questions

Not all sections will have data — it depends on what the client has logged so far.

## Replying

You cannot reply to an in-progress check-in. The **Send** and **Mark as Read** buttons are disabled until the client submits. You can, however, start drafting your response — it will auto-save and be ready to send once the check-in is submitted.

## When to Use This

- **New clients** — monitor their first few days closely and address any issues early
- **Clients you're concerned about** — check in on their compliance without waiting for submission
- **Mid-week spot checks** — get ahead of problems before the check-in is due
