Nutrition Targets

Nutrition targets let you set macro goals for your clients. You define goal types (like "Training Days" and "Rest Days"), then assign specific calorie and macro targets per client.

Configuring Goal Types

Goal types are the categories of nutrition targets you can assign. Most coaches create at least two: one for training days and one for rest days.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Macro Goals
  2. You'll see your current goal types listed

Adding a Goal Type

  1. Click Add to create a new goal type
  2. Fill in:
  • Name — the name of this goal type (e.g. "Training Days", "Rest Days", "High Carb Days")
  • Description — a description visible to clients
  • Enabled — toggle whether this goal type is active
  1. Click Save

Editing Goal Types

All goal types are editable inline on the same page. Update the name, description, or enabled status, then click Save to apply all changes at once.

Deleting a Goal Type

Check the Delete checkbox next to the goal type and click Save. The goal type will be removed.

Assigning Targets to a Client

Once you've configured your goal types, assign specific macro values to individual clients:

  1. Open a client's profile
  2. Navigate to their nutrition settings
  3. Set values for each goal type: calories, protein, carbohydrates, and fat

Nutrition Tracking in Check-Ins

When a client has nutrition targets assigned and their service has nutrition tracking enabled, their check-in will include nutrition data. When reviewing their check-in, you'll see:

  • Macro targets table — showing their assigned targets by goal type
  • Food log data — if the client tracks via a connected app like MacrosFirst

Nutrition targets only apply when the client's service has Nutrition Required set to a frequency other than "Never".
