# Messaging Your Coach

Apotheo includes a built-in messaging system so you can communicate directly with your coach. You can send text messages, attach files, and share photos — all from within your account.

## Accessing Messages

Click **Messages** in your account navigation to open your inbox. You'll see your conversation history with your coach.

## Sending a Message

Type your message in the compose area at the bottom of the conversation and press **Send**. Your coach will receive a notification.

## Attachments

You can attach different types of content to your messages:

- **Files** — upload documents like PDFs or spreadsheets
- **Photos** — share images with your coach

## Editing and Deleting Messages

You can edit or delete a message you've sent, as long as your coach hasn't read it yet and no email notification has been sent.

## Notifications

You'll receive a notification when your coach sends you a message. Check your email and account regularly so you don't miss anything.

## Tips

- **Be specific** — the more detail you provide, the better your coach can help
- **Use attachments** — share photos of meals, workouts, or anything else relevant to your coaching
- **Check regularly** — your coach may send feedback, plan updates, or follow-up questions between check-ins
