Customizing Your Service Agreement

Customizing Your Service Agreement

A service agreement is a terms-of-service document that clients must accept before they can begin working with you. When active, clients see and agree to the agreement during their onboarding process.

Accessing the Service Agreement

Navigate to Settings > Service Agreement.

Service agreement editor

Editing the Agreement

Use the rich text editor to write your service agreement. The editor supports:

  • Headings and font sizes
  • Bold, italic, underline, and strikethrough
  • Bulleted and numbered lists
  • Links
  • Images

Placeholders

The editor supports placeholder variables that are dynamically replaced with client-specific data when displayed:

  • {{ full_name }} — the client's full name
  • {{ portal_name }} — your business/portal name (from Settings > Branding)
  • {{ billing_details }} — auto-generated text describing the client's payment terms

What Clients See

During onboarding, clients see the service agreement with a checkbox or button to accept the terms. They cannot proceed to their dashboard or complete their sign-up until they've accepted.

Tips

  • Keep the agreement clear and concise
  • Include key terms about your coaching relationship, payment policies, and cancellation procedures
  • Use placeholders to personalize the agreement with client-specific details
  • Review and update the agreement periodically as your business terms evolve
