# Customizing Payment Pages

Apotheo has three payment page templates that control what clients see when making a payment. You can customize the content on each page with your own text, images, and formatting.

## Payment Page Types

### New Client Payment Page

The page new clients see when making their first payment after being added to your roster. Access it from **Settings > Products** and click the **New Client** template link, or navigate to **Settings > New Client Payment Page**.

### Expired Client Payment Page

The page shown to clients whose payment has expired and need to renew. Access it from **Settings > Products** and click the **Expired Clients** template link, or navigate to **Settings > Expired Client Payment Page**.

### Extend Payment Page

The page clients see when extending their current payment period. Access it from **Settings > Products** and click the **Extend Payment** template link, or navigate to **Settings > Extend Payment Page**.

## Editing a Payment Page

1. Navigate to the payment page template you want to edit
2. Use the **rich text editor** to customize the page content

The editor supports:

- Headings and font sizes
- Bold, italic, underline, and strikethrough
- Font family and color
- Bulleted and numbered lists
- Text alignment
- Images (uploaded or linked)
- Links
- Blockquotes

### Placeholders

Use the **Add Placeholder** button in the editor toolbar to insert dynamic values that are replaced with actual client data when the page is displayed.

**Available on all payment pages:**

| Placeholder | Description |
|---|---|
| `{{ first_name }}` | The client's first name |
| `{{ portal_name }}` | Your business/portal name |
| `{{ coach_name }}` | The coach's display name |
| `{{ logo }}` | Your business logo image |
| `{{ accept_terms_checkbox }}` | A checkbox for the client to accept your service agreement |

**Additional placeholder on the Extend Payment page:**

| Placeholder | Description |
|---|---|
| `{{ paid_until }}` | The client's current paid-until date |

## Saving Changes

Click **Save** to apply your changes. The **Save** button is disabled until you make an edit.

If you navigate away with unsaved changes, a dialog will ask whether you want to **Leave now** or **Continue editing**.

## Tips

- Keep payment pages concise — clients are ready to pay, so don't overwhelm them with too much text
- Use placeholders to personalize the experience (e.g. greeting them by name)
- Include a brief summary of what they're paying for and what to expect next
