# Account Setup

Your account settings control your profile information, timezone, measurement units, and email signature. You can access them by clicking your profile icon at the bottom of the sidebar, or by navigating to **Account**.

## Profile Settings

The **My Profile** tab contains your core account settings:

### Name and Photo

Your name and profile photo are displayed at the top of the page. Click the **pencil icon** next to your name to update your first and last name. Click your profile photo to upload a new one.

### Location and Timezone

Start typing your location in the **Location** field — it uses Google autocomplete to find your address and automatically sets your timezone. Your timezone determines how dates and times are displayed throughout Apotheo.

### Units

Choose your preferred units for working with clients:

- **Weight Units** — pounds or kilograms
- **Measurement Units** — inches or centimeters

These settings affect how measurements are displayed across your account.

### Email Signature

The **Email Signature** field lets you set a default signature that's included in reminder and notification emails sent to your clients. The editor supports rich text formatting including bold, italic, links, images, and headings.

## Changing Your Password

Switch to the **Password** tab to update your password. You'll need to enter your current password, then your new password twice to confirm.

If you've forgotten your current password, click the **Forgot Password?** link to reset it via email.

## Notification Preferences

The **Notifications** tab lets you manage your email notification settings, controlling which events trigger email alerts.
